Be Like Cheryl was founded to continue the mission of Be Like Henry. 

Cheryl Pliskin was the founder of Be Like Henry.  Cheryl named Be Like Henry after her rescue dog, Henry who was dumped and homeless in Crockett County, Tennessee. Cheryl fostered Henry and immediately knew he wouldn’t be leaving. In her home, Henry relaxed, thrived and transitioned from an abandoned animal with no hope to a confident therapy dog. Henry developed an uncanny ability to recognize suffering and seek out those in pain to provide comfort.

Cheryl was taken from us far too soon.  Her legacy will continue through Be Like Cheryl.  May we all learn to be more like Cheryl, more giving, more caring, more loving.

Our mission:   Healing dogs and their people.  

How do we achieve this? Through donations of dog food and supplies to needy shelters and rescues.
